Carlsbad, Calif. – Sept 1, 2010 – Next Level Security Systems (www.nlss.com), a developer of a new breed of unified, networked security solutions, was honored as the winner of Security Products magazine’s 2010 New Product of the Year for the NLSS Gateway. The NLSS Gateway was named the recipient of the award in the Network-Centric Security category.

The NLSS Gateway also offers key features such as auto discovery and auto provisioning of edge devices to simplify the installation process, and supports edge devices that incorporate PSIA and ONVIF specifications. The Security Products New Product of the Year Award honors the outstanding product development achievements of security equipment manufacturers whose products are considered to be particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve security. In total, 90 entries were received, a 40 percent increase over 2009 entries. Winners are honored in eight distinct categories.
