A variety of NLSS Solutions will be on display at the New York-based convention
New York, NY – January 10, 2011 – Next Level Security Systems (www.nlss.com), a developer of a new breed of unified, networked security solutions, partners with Axis Communication at this week’s NRF Big Show to demonstrate the power and capabilities of IP-based security to the retail industry.
Retailers constantly search for innovative ways to limit losses and optimize business efficiency. Next Level Security Systems flagship product, the NLSS Gateway, accomplishes this through the integration of multiple subsystems including video management, IP access control, video analytics and intrusion into a single platform. This integration occurs at the point of manufacture, reducing complex custom integration at the end user site. This unique approach enables information from all systems to be immediately correlated to provide retailers with a comprehensive view of LP and store operations.
The NLSS HD Media Decoder, which offers a convenient way to display surveillance camera footage, stored media files or online content on any LCD, LED or Plasma monitor without complicated hardware, will also be on display at the NRF exhibition. The NLSS HD Media Decoder Version 2.2 supports portrait view, which is directly compatible with Axis Communications’ unique 9:16 Corridor Format. Portrait view enables users to vertically orient video streams. This is ideal in locations such as staircases, retail bays and store aisles, which require a vertical field of view to gather the utmost video information in a display. The NLSS HD Media Decoder not only supports cameras with rotated streams, it also has the ability to rotate displays 90, 180 or 270 degrees, allowing the full area and resolution of the camera's image sensors to be utilized.
When combined with Axis Communications’ advanced network surveillance cameras, retailers can be more effective at reducing loss by gathering high-quality images that enable LP investigators to quickly identify perpetrators and close cases.
